WBJEE 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must primarily appear in 2 papers for WBJEE 2023:
- Math Paper I and Physics and Chemistry Paper II.
- Candidates that participate in both Paper I and Paper II receive a GMR (General Merit Rank) and are normally qualified to apply for admission to all institutes' engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy programs.
- Candidates who just participate in Paper II, however, are usually given a PMR (Pharmacy Merit Rank) and are only qualified for admission to Pharmacy programs (except Jadavpur University).
- One-fourth of a point will be withdrawn for each unsatisfactory Category I answer and one-half of a mark for each unsatisfactory Category II response. For responses that are only partially correct, marks in Category-III will be calculated as 2 X. You won't receive any points for not trying the question.
